Admittedly, I am horrible about keeping up on my featured senior posts. BUT, I will say that February has proven to be the unhealthiest month for our family for the past five years, with this year being no exception. (How do I know this? Well, Facebook reminds me of it with "On This Day" pictures of my kids sick in the hospital, sick on the couch, sick in their bed, and sick in my bed. I would say that 75% of February's memories include sick children. I kid you not.) And the last week of February 2017 ranks right up there with one of the worst...WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS STOMACH BUG? Ugh.
So, now that I have enough energy back to put together this post, let's focus on something HEALTHY and beautiful...like Miss Emma Halpenny's senior session! Wow!
I met Emma and her mom for the first time last July, but she's one of those people that makes you feel like you've known her forever. Emma is a genuine soul who carries herself with grace and ease, someone who is wise beyond her years.
Emma moved through her session as though she had done this sort of thing a million times! I think what I loved the most about Emma is that we shot her session on one of the WINDIEST days of the summer (which was NO BIG DEAL to her), and regardless, she ROCKED it! The wind was no match for her amazing hair, attitude, and smile. In fact, I loved the way her hair moved with the wind - it added such a cool, natural dimension to her images, and I think it made them even more fabulous! Check out her session below to see what I mean!
Emma has big plans next year, as she recently decided that she will be attending the University of Minnesota in the fall! Congratulations, Emma! I wish you all the best - you are one in a million!
xoxoxo,
Kelley
