“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.” - Maya Angelou

a message from home

Our favorite memory is…

It’s hard to pick just one as there are so many. One of our favorites is something as simple as your first word. We were so excited! Little did we know how you would continue to make us so proud of all the accomplishments that you have made over the last 18 years.

what we want the world to know about you is…

You are smart, competitive, kind hearted, and witty. You have a lot to offer and contribute to the things that you are passionate about.

Our hope for you is…

For you to find strength to face challenges along your journey and listen to your heart as you find your purpose. Appreciate what life has to offer and strive to be the best that you can be. Be proud of who you are as you pursue your dreams and take time to see the world as it will change your perspective in every way. Always remember that it’s not what happens to you, it’s what you do about it that matters.

Blake, you have taught us so much more than we could have ever hoped to teach you about unconditional love and what’s most important in life. Congratulations on this exciting milestone in your life. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Love you! As you would say “enjoy the ride!”
